最近發現 隆頭魚科有好幾種魚類的中文名都改了 例如 Hemigymnus melapterus 黑鰭厚唇魚 現在成了 黑鰭半裸魚 Thalassoma lutescens 黃衣錦魚 現在是胸斑錦魚 寒鯛亞科 整個科名都改了 中文名又不是學名 只是方便普羅大眾認識魚類用的 也許當初命名有不當之處 但這就跟每個人都有自己的名子一樣 只是個稱呼 並不一定需要有學術上的意義 取的不好 也不會說改就改 又不是改了以後 就能跟世界接軌 全球通用 難道外國研究魚類的學者會用中文不成 這樣做一點意義都沒有 只是圖增大家的困擾罷了
